Description
I'm not saying these player are available I'm trying to find player that aren't talked about all the time but that there is maybe a small chance that get traded. So, someone like Patrick Kane can't make it onto this team.

Choose a player and answer these questions
1. What has to happen for them to be traded?
2. What would it take to aquire them?

There are 2 outliers here: Jarvis and Byfield. Why would their respective teams even consider trading them? Byfield is likely Kopitar’s replacement in the long run, and Jarvis has limitless potential only in his sophomore year. Those 2 are likely untouchables, and Jarvis is definitely an untouchable.

Newhook could develop into a great 2C, but he has struggled so far this year, so I don’t think the Avs move without an overpay, provided they can manage their cap properly. As for everyone else, who knows? Maybe a plate of bacon and a strawberry smoothie? Value is bit hard to judge.

Garland is probably available right now. Cost from a fan perspective would be either a really good prospect (ie. Project that could pan out as top 6 center or top 4 D) and probably a 2nd this year or 2nd next year plus. An example that wasn't hated that I proposed a while ago from New Jersey Garland for Bahl, Thomson, and a 2nd in 2023

Your assessment is correct, but as always on here the word "untouchable" is thrown around way too loosely. Mcdavid, AM34, Mack are untouchables.

Now of course carolina and LA are in no means looking to trade those guys and would need a great offer to move them. But not untouchable

Are they likely to be traded? No but, I'm always skeptical on teams trying to win now like Carolina. Obviously they would need a big piece to movie Jarvis but, they want to win now and likely any team trading with them wants him. As for LA. He hasn't exactly been what they were hoping for. Way too early to call him a bust or anything but would they consider trading him while his value is still high? Just my though process. The fact that you didn't say these players are talked about all the time makes me happy lol

Jarvis is likely our long term replacement for Teuvo so I doubt he is moved. If we are moving him, we would likely be acquiring a 90-100 point player that is controllable.
