Has to be an extension in the works to be worth it... which TOR can't afford. Giving up cost control players & draft picks only makes it harder.

Not that the value isn't good but Sandin is not needed in Detroit. Honestly it's just not the right pieces to get back if we were to trade Larkin so Detroit would have to pass.

The Leafs say no for sure, they don't need another C at this time and definitely can't afford Larkin.

I think Detroit would be looking for different pieces than this in a Larkin trade but if it's the best offer then obviously they either sign him or say yes.
