There is nothing interesting in that package other than the 1st, fabbri is a large cap hit to just toss the other way. Would need to add edvinsson or something like that to this

Gylander is looking to have some promise as he matures, the pick speaks for itself, and Lombardi is a solid B prospect. Fabbri is here more for cap relief but he's not exactly a bum either (on par with Beauvillier in the Horvat deal).

I would personally add another B prospect (Buium, Viro, etc) but didn't want any "too much" jabs from Wings fans.

I dont want Meier. He will either get QO of 10 million, and go UFA, or ask for something above 8 million. 2 seasons, not ppg but close. This is a a 7-8 million max player who can either go UFA after next year and get a 9 million dollar a year deal with a lesser team, or a 7 million dollar deal with a contender.

And for the record, this is possibly more than SJ will get, since most contenders will treat him as a rental, and the first will be in the 20s.

The trade is fair, but I still don't want Meier unless he signs for 7.5 million or less.
