Description

I think maybe another 2nd for the CHI trade... in any case, I think Edmonton is about the only team that it makes sense for Karlsson to go to.

Regardless of the price I think this gives Edmonton the best top 5 in the NHL and then for the next few seasons they just need to get their 6th player. Lots would be interested, one year deal a bit cheaper with the chance of playing on the most offensively gifted team and lead to a great next deal for them. Also, they will have a great top 2 D for the next 4 seasons. Karlsson might drop off or get injured again but he will always be decent and very talented.
