That being said, I don't know why Florida would move Reinhart for that package, which makes this all a moot point.

First off Florida would have to acquire a 1st. Then they would have to beat other teams offers, which I don’t see this beating Jersey or Carolina

It's exceptionally hard to not come off as snarky here, so I'm going to do my best not to, since I feel like you might have skipped over the OP's actual trades here, and jumped right into the comment section... tears of joy

The OP made a trade where he acquired a 1st (Which, IMO wasn't a good trade for the Panthers, but I digress...)
The OP then made a trade where he gave up a number of significant assets to acquire Meier, which obviously included a 1st and Mackie Samoskevich, who (coincidentally) is scoring at a higher rate in the NCAA right now than Knies is (both are 20), which is (hilariously) the sticking point on most threads where Leafs fans try to acquire Meier.

No sh*t, Sherlock? In real life Florida would have to acquire a first and I don’t see them selling. Then they would have to outbid teams and a B and C prospect aren’t getting Timo over most teams
