Description
Miraculously I think this team is cap compliant and I think this team does damage in the playoffs.

Of course, Toronto would only be into this if they decided to go all-in and needed to move Kerfoot to open up cap space. I think that's reasonably likely though.

Also I know Jets fans would love to move Pionk right now but let's get real -- we're not trading our pseudo #1 RHD who is getting 22 minutes of ice time a night for a LHD at the deadline. We'd be left with only DeMelo as a right-hander -- it's either Schmidt or Dillon that get moved and Dillon would be the far easier player to trade away, given Schmidt's partial NTC, term and salary.

Not sure about Kerfoot
Come playoffs he's about as effective as Plekanecs was.
Ok Regular season guy but when games matter he's a ghost.

You could always flip Henri J to MTL if you're getting Dillion to get atleast a 3rd and a prospect back .
Henri J is just what MTL needs longterm on our RD and it seems like BUF could use a LD
We got them coming out the wazoo
