As much as I like to prattle on about getting a 2023 or 2024 first or second for Adam Henrique, Chase Stillman might be enough of a prospect (together with the other two elements) to make this offer not merely reasonable but acceptable. This is one of those "we'll have to let the scouting staff decide this one" decisions. All I can honestly say is this certainly isn't beyond the realm of possibility.

Nah. He was projected as a third rounder, he was among the biggest reaches of the draft. His biggest asset is "motor," which along with his disappointing point production are not first round pick attributes. Maybe I'd like him if he were a third round pick or later, but all I see when I look at him is a future fourth liner that could have been Raty or Stankoven.

His upside is worse Nate Bastian. Analytics suggest he never makes the NHL.

Maybe during his interview at the combine he impressed people with his attitude, and they sensed someone who was going to put n the extra effort required to make him a success as he developed.
