Description
Every Leafs AGM has Holl/Kerfoot to the Cancuks today. IT IS NOT HAPPENING!!!!

Frank Seravalli got a few break a couple years ago and has got nothing right since. He specifically said that the he had sources in the Leafs who said they weren't considering an O'Reilly trade then was the only one of 24 reporters polled who said the trade wouldn't help the Leafs in the playoffs.

The guy is a hack.

There is ZERO logic (Canucks fans tell me if I'm wrong) for the Canucks, a team trying to finish low and retool to pay for a UFA on an expiring deal. There is also no reason for the Leafs to pay to get rid of a guy at a $3.5M cap hit who had over 50 points last year and is on pace for around 60 this year. He had more points than Nino in 17/18, 18/19, 1 less in 19/20, 11 less 20/21, more lat year and 2 less so far this year. And he just went for a 2nd. Not to mention Kerfoot is a go to PK guy for the leafs and a guy we've put out late in games for years. He has value just not to the canucks.

Honestly I think Holl is moving not Kerfoot. Kerfoot has too much trust from Keefe and if there is top 6 injury you can slite him in without messing up the whole team.

Let's just stop these BS trades where we send UFAs to Vancouver cause they make zero sense.

Think for yourselves don't listen to a hack who writes for a no name sports blog lol.
Trades
TOR
  1. 2025 4th round pick (WPG)
Additional Details:
For Winnepeg this deal make sa lot of sense. holl is cheap and plays a defensive style that fits the team. You add at a low cost and it can alleviate pressure from Samberg as a rookie to play big minutes on D.
WPG
  1. Holl, Justin
Additional Details:
For Toronto it clears cap and opens up space for other moves.

A logical Leafs fan understanding we don’t want Kerfoot/Holl. Thank you

We’d maybe consider taking them with sweeteners or for free to flip with retention to other contenders, but definitely won’t be paying assets for them

I don't trust Seravalli either but some money has to be moved out to bring Murray back. Going into the playoffs it's better to have depth at D so either one of Engvall or Kerfoot have to be traded.

What math are you doing that puts Kerfoot on pace for 60 points this year?

Seravalli nailed the Expansion Draft. I remember that. I don't know often he's right about trades.
