I don't understand how some of these players are matched up against each other. Some of these are way off. Marner is better than Point, Lafferty is better than Maroon, Paul is better than Kampf

It's all about line match ups, not player match ups.

Hardly doubt Keefe and Cooper play 1st vs. 1st; so the match ups equal Tor's 1st vs. Tbay shut down line, Tby's 1st vs. Tor shutdown line.

Leafs don't have a true shutdown line (hence why they always lose in the 1st Rd in the Dubas era).

So Tbay wins.

At least compare position to position for forwards. Leafs forwards are better. D corps - slight edge to Tampa; they have better top 4 but leafs have better depth. Tampa has edge in goalies & coach.

Some of the players aren't matched up properly. For example, Bunts and Jeannot are matchups even though Jeannot is better, another one is O'Reilly=Cirelli
