Ducks decline. Silfverberg is better than Pearson and Myers combined + they are gaining almost 4M more dollars than they started. Easy pass buy the Ducks.

Can't see WPG moving Samberg anytime soon...especially not for that price.

I wouldn't sign Kerfoot because I think that we have enough internal contenders for LW that we want to try out/develop.

I don't think that we trade Adam Henrique until and unless we see whom we draft in the first round in June. If we get someone who might play in the NHL next season, I think we keep Henrique around for mentorship purposes, especially since Bedard, Fantilli and Carlson are all seen as potential #1 centers.

His point is that it's $1.5 million cheaper in actual money after July 1 for both of them collectively than Silfverberg alone, and the cap ceiling is out of sight for us.

Comtois for Fabbro is fine, but with Nashville having extended him already, I think they are hoping he works out, but with bringing Foote in, its clear Fabbro is on his final straw.

Silfverberg deal makes no sense for us, we need to clear our roster spots at forward, Pearson just creates a problem up there, we'd rather just ride out Silf's contract We'll take Myers for FC after his bonus is paid.

Trading out a top 6LW for a rookie adjacent LD is not a move Anaheim would make, we need an experienced, defensive LD to be Drysdale's partner. Anything less than the perfect match isn't worth trading Henrique for, as anything else we have internal options not far away. If there's a defenseman I want from the Jets, its Logan Stanley, but I wouldn't give up much for him.

I'll parrot what @OldNYIfan mentioned about Kerfoot, no sense in signing him when we need to see what we have internally, and with there we will be next season, giving the kids time is more important that whatever minor improvement Kerfoot would provide.
