I’d argue that the bigger issue with this trade would be BUF’s willingness to be on the hook for 8M cap hit. He’s just not an 8M player….but if NYR would retain salary, he could be a good piece to what BUF is building.

And thankfully we don't need to suffer through Tarasenko or Kane next year. The team is just no identity with those two on the team. No chance they sign that.
Better sign someone like Jesper Fast.
