MacEwen is a 20 year old great prospect. Smart, good hands. Average speed and skill. Middle 6 C/RW right now but too early to tell.

Wood was 1 of 3 players COL traded for Boedker who has 1 good year in the AHL. He is a D that is expendable now that ARI has drafted Chychrun, and spent to acquire Goligoski + Schenn + Hjalmarsson.
Coyotes are moving to win now and need some ready talent on RW. Richardson, C/RW, is coming back from a terrible tibula fibula fracture last season and it's unknown what shape he'll be in both due to injury and due to age.

Originally chipped in the Canucks taking Bolland's remaining 2y@5.5 salary dump, but the Coyotes need to stay above the cap floor.

Sutter, C/RW head of PK entering his prime years, probably will be available to the highest bidder at the trade deadline this season. If ARI is interested in adding picks to this trade, Canucks could replace MacEwen with Sutter

Nope.
1. Where's Martinook?
2. Keller plays wing
3. Too many left-handed wingers
4. Why wouldn't they just call-up Fischer instead of trading Wood for Rodin?
5. They traded DeAngelo because Wood had such a good year in Tucson. They don't have any other RHD of note in the prospect pool beyond Wood.
