    Jets decline. There will likely be a lot of other teams willing to pay more than that for dubois even as a rental. Forget with an extension negotiated lol. Look at the horvat and Meier comparables and start there.

    There is not a single piece in this trade the jets want (maybe you could argue the 1st but not as the primary piece).

    Detroit passes, We're trying to get bigger as well. And 2 lame pieces doesn't get Soda.

    The Soderblom is a lateral trade since he is the size of two men; Wings decline.

    That is not a great trade for Montreal. Ylonen had the same points per game as Soderblom, plus Montreal gives up a center that is projected to be a very good 3rd line center who is fantastic on faceoffs.

    Size is good and all, but it’s not everything.

    Sounds like Red Wing fans want to keep Soderblom and Habs fans should not want to give up that package of players either.

    Yeah but Yvonne played more games more minutes per game and is 2 years older. But you were right Detroit fans don't want to trade Soderblom but it's not just the fans. Management and the coaching staff are high on him as well. When he gets stronger he will be a force. His hands are ridiculous for his size.
