Trades
1.
TOR
  1. Hartman, Ryan
Additional Details:
Leafs get a psychical scorer on a cheap deal. Only has one year but I have a feeling he would be open to an extension.
MIN
  1. Abruzzese, Nick [RFA Rights]
  2. 2023 1st round pick (BOS)
  3. 2024 5th round pick (TOR)
Additional Details:
Wild are likely going to regress with the cap issues this season. Hartman is likely lost after this season so moving him out for a 1st in a deep draft is key for this retool for the Wild. Abruzzese can be used as depth project.
2.
TOR
  1. Goodrow, Barclay
  2. 2023 1st round pick (NYR)
Additional Details:
Leafs get a bottom, physical player with leadership. Comes with a 1st round pick for an awful contract.
NYR
  1. Robertson, Nicholas
Additional Details:
Rangers shed 3.7 million in cap and get a player back who is looking to prove something.
3.
TOR
  1. Bjorkstrand, Oliver
  2. 2023 2nd round pick (TOR)
  3. 2023 6th round pick (SEA)
  4. 2024 1st round pick (SEA)
Additional Details:
Leafs get what I refer to as a second hand Nylander. Bkorkstrand is a great player but likely caps out at 60 points. A solid second line winger while getting picks back for future trades.
SEA
  1. Nylander, William
Additional Details:
Kraken get an elite goal scorer who will likely help the team now, but in the future. Leafs will sadly not have the funds to keep him past this season and need to capitalise on his production now. Nylander signs extension
4.
TOR
Leafs shed around 3 million in cap with this deal.
    BUF
    1. Mete, Victor [RFA Rights]
    2. Murray, Matt ($1,687,500 retained)
    3. 2024 3rd round pick (NYI)
    4. 2025 5th round pick (CHI)
    Additional Details:
Buffalo gets their backup for the year, a possible depth defence and some picks all while the leafs retain another 20 percent.

If the Wild are on the outside looking in coming up to next season's TDL, I could see them accepting this type of deal - except with Toronto's 24' 1st of course. No chance in hell they trade him this offseason.

Rangers are pretty full at LW, also I don’t see them sacrificing their 1st round pick just for cap management.

Goodrow + 2nd for FC cool with you?

Buy-out Murray. Buffalo isn't taking him, especially not for a couple of late picks and an AHL tweener.

    1. Adams has stated he wants players who want to be there, Murray already nixed a trade to Buffalo last offseason so that bridge was burned.
    2. Buffalo already has 3 goalies under contract.
    3. Murray has proven once again to be injury prone and inconsistent. Buffalo already has enough of that with Comrie and UPL.
