Don't see why the Leafs would do that. Cheap 24 y/o right shot Dman who played well for us and has two more years with RFA expiry... seems more valuable to us than a 7th

Of all the poor Hextall additions, I don’t mind Petry and what he brings to the team. He’s overpaid, but still a top 4 d-man. He has size as well. In my opinion he is still too serviceable to justify parting ways with a great and cheap defender in Jospeh in order to move him for an injury riddled and soft Boqvist. Petry and Jospeh were a solid pair last year on a bad team.

I just see him being dumped for nothing and I dont understand why. What would you value him as?
