Seattle is going to nix that. Legitimate top-pairing defensemen are hard to find, and Dunn has blossomed into one. He's not leaving Seattle anytime soon. I wouldn't be shocked to see Seattle explore a trade for Nylander if Toronto is fielding offers, but assuming Brodie is worth a second round pick, trading Dunn along with Gourde and a third round pick for someone who's one year away from free agency is a non-starter.

Welcome to CapFriendly by the way and congrats on your first ACGM!

Yeah 2024 1st round swap is not going to unload Murray. Plus no guarantee that even moves us up in the draft.

Yeah you're probably right. I would love to see Toronto do a trade with the Kraken though because I feel like they have a lot of pieces that would fit Toronto. If Nylander was gonna be in the deal, I think it would have to be a sign and trade. I do like Yanni Gourde as an option and maybe then they look at someone other than Dunn.

Even with timmins? They get a young defensemen with a chance to play some minutes seeing as his career has been riddled with injuries. Moving up in the draft isn't the point its to keep a first rounder. I see a lot of trades like Murray and our 1st for a 2nd. I thought adding timmins could help us keep that first aswell as free up 1mil
