Seattle likely to pass. Won't argue Edmondson's value, but there are preferable options to the Kraken for a 3rd pair LD available via trade or in free agency. Gurianov is not a fit in Seattle's already deep roster of wingers, either.

Also, I kind of wonder if the NHL Central Registry reads that novel of trade conditions re: PLD and sends it back, saying "do it again!" Just a tad convoluted!!

the CGY part is approuved by nhl and the part adding to that respect nhlpa and nhl contract condition. If we can see a Lecavalier trade with ending career deal, we can see almost anything.

At 50% Edmundson leadership can be a good vet add up to any team willing to go in playoff.

I can't see Dubois taking a 5 year deal in a sign & trade. Every sign & trade in history has been 8 years I believe.

it depend on the banking need of a player with the cap going up I go with a 5 yrs to expect another big signature for PLD.
