Could slot in on the 3RW, PP threat as well
Probably not even qualified by SEA

BOS need cap space badly, but Forbort is a good PKer and I don't expect SEA to give Soucy the big contract he is looking for. Forbort will slot perfectly being Oleksiak & Dunne

Why would Dubas make a fair value trade with Sweeney? Boston has zero leverage and will get Kyle Beach'd on every trade.

Why would PIT not upgrade their team significally just because the trade helps both teams ? BOS get worse in the end while PIT are improving big time
Win-win case, and GMs aren't jerk, they always make trades that they think helps both teams

If the Pens are picking up $5.4M and saving Boston $5.6M cap space you aren’t getting that 1st rounder. Pass.

For the same reason teams were offering lowball offers to Vancouver for Garland and Boeser before the OEL buyout. It's a zero sum league. Boston can't send cap hits to the KHL. All 31 NHL GMs know their situation and are looking to exploit the Bruins now.
