I like this a lot! I think Dorfeyev has the potential to be a good middle-six winger. However, I wonder about acquiring a stopgap in case he doesn't pan out. Maybe Engvall or JVR?

i think they were eyeing JVR at some point before the deadline last season so i can see us going for him

I agree! During the TDL there was a lot of chatter around JVR and Vegas. Now that his bloated contract isn't an issue maybe they'll circle back. Food for thought...
