Contracts aren’t identical, tho. Bailey’s buyout is more prohibitive than Granny’s. I don’t see the Pens dealing a second to move him.

And the Pens just filled out their top six with Smith, no fit for Nylander. If they spend top assets making a big deal now it’ll be for a goalie.

Center, defense, goaltending are all question marks. But at least wingers won't be.

Don’t see Shanny and Tre doing much business with Dubee in the near future. Certainly aren’t moving our 40+ goal winger for picks & prospects

Center I think Poehling would have a breakout year playing with two wingers of the quality
Defense: Ty Smith would have to step up but I am optimistic of his potential. I liked the way he looked last year when given opportunity
Goalie: Yeah I would just prefer a low cost duo short term than being locked into the high cost trade options

Goaltending is probably going to be a question mark regardless as they would need to make a massive deal to secure a top goalie (Hellebuyck or Saros). But this lineup has excessive winger depth and too many holes.
