Maroon+franson

If this could play out take it. Not certain VH has any value though. He's fast true, but then he is also just fast. All for Butcher and Franson, but Q will not put Butcher on the first d pair. The reality is the Toews Saad Panik have to be a NHL top 5 first line for this team to succeed. Another season of Toews being nice player instead of a super star and this team struggles no matter whom they add.

Although I would love to get Maroon, it's just not gonna happen because I feel he was very valuable to EDM this year, the only way I could see it happening is if EDM feels that they won't be able to resign him. And that is very possible though, considering the fact that he played great this year. I fee we'd have to give up more though.

I'd be very happy if Q could get Butcher. He won't be on the top pair, but he's a bit of a PP puck mover and I'd like to try someone else for that role.
