Description
these are just some Idea for trades and the values might be far off or they might be spot on but something like this if Kyle does this then I think the pens are going on another playoff run hopefully

the trades

Well the karlsson trade I think it helps out every team involved Pens get a D man who put up 100 points and can also skate the puck out which they had problems doing that this pass season and plus get him at a decent cap hit . The sharks get a 1st top 10 protected so they should get that 1st because I don't see the Pens finishing lower then the top 15 teams so the sharks can use that 1st top build up for the future then there is Petry who isn't the best D man but can still put up 40 points who the sharks can also flip for some picks if they retain money on him then there's O'Connor who is a young 3/4 liner who is fast and can score just needs to be given a better chance and the 4th just helps then replace the 3rd that they give up kind of but Chicago they get that 2026 3rd from the sharks for taking on Granlund who can still put up 50 points but just couldn't find a spot here in Pittsburg and just put him with Bedard and should rack up points also Chi gets Bjorkqvist who is kind of just a throw in but who knows Chi could sign him so he can come back to the NHL. and The Sharks also get from Chi Hardman who is a young 23 year old who can still at least turn into a 3/4 liner

Pens get from the Canucks Hoglander who is looking for a new home seems like there is just no room for him in the Van roster plus he's still young could fill-in to the 3rd line perfect then there is Martin mostly just a throw in here but it also doesn't hurt to have another goalie that can play NHL minutes and the 3rd its a 3rd . And Van gets Desmith so the pens can get more cap plus is an alright goalie can be you starter for a bit if your starter goes out with an injury or just be a really good back up and Smith is a case where I don't see room for him on the pens roster he's a good offensive D man should be able to get a good amount of points just can't see a roster where he can make it

and the last trade pens get Futures and we give Carolina a 2nd in 26 Legare who can be a future 3 liner and Carters contract if only he waives his NMC and I think he would if Kyle has a long talk with him and thats where the canes come in where they have cap and im assuming he would want to at least try to win a cup one more time instead of being shipped to the Coyotes or Ducks so this doesn't have to be the canes just whatever team has cap and has a chance to win the cup but not a lot of good teams have that

Why would Carolina help out a division rival? You need a 1st if you want to shift that Carter NMC. Especially if you want the Canes to use their space to bail the Pens out rather than just grab EK themselves
