Swap Sway for a 1st and a high end prospect you’d be closer.

I think people really under-estimate what the Bruins can do with the current line up, plus one or two of our high end prospects popping.

Zacha could easily replicate his last season or do even better, a 60+ point center in the top 6? Not bad.

I could see Coyle finally surpassing that 50 point mark with a full season of DeBrusk + Lysell or Merkulov. Even with JVR, I think he could very easily do it.

The bottom 6 is probably the biggest question mark, but still there is a lot of options.

Boston doesn't have any high-end prospects. They have a couple decent ones, but counting on them to be substantial contributors is very optimistic and not very likely.

Zacha, Coyle and JR could all have career years, but again, that's super optimistic considering they are going to be playing higher in the lineup and against tougher competition. I don't think it's very realistic to assume.

The biggest issue to me is depth. If any of their top guys go out of the lineup for any significant period of time, they are going to be struggling. If they can't add another top-6 center like Lindholm or Kuznetsov, I think they could possibly wind up missing the playoffs.

Fans are underestimating the impact that the losses of Bergeron and Krejci will have.

Calgary doesn't consider this.

And yes, it is going to be very interesting how much BOS struggles this year without their top 2 centers. I am especially interested in seeing how Pastrnak produces.
