Like where you are starting...

Thachuk (6'2" - plays like he is 6'8") Plus Mony (solid 6'3") and Ferland (6'2" - plays like he is 6'6")
That's a big hard line!!!

I would follow it with...
JH - Foo - Versteeg

Then.....
Bennett - Backs - Ferlik

If that 2nd line can come together the 1st and second will kill you!!!

If Bennett, a 4th overall pick, and Lazar, another 1st rounder couldn't find their groove at Center in their first year of pro, it's asking a lot -- a lot -- of Foo to come in from NCAA and be ready for 2nd line C duty. I'm optimistic and excited, but he's better suited to being insulated with guys like Backlund and Frolik.

Playing Ferland on his off wing worked for him as it opens up the net for his snap shot, but it is difficult to pick pucks off the boards on the fly, Ferly doesn't do a lot of that so it works but playing just JH and Versteeg on their off wing means they have to pick up breakout passes on their backhand....hmmm
