I don't think Robertson will be on the Leafs. At least not to start the season. But maybe if he has a great training camp?

Why make it hard on yourself by having a 20 man roster? I'll never understand this. We all know injuries will happen and players will need games off.

I know the AHL Marlies also play in Toronto but still. It's unnecessary. Jumping through hoops all season to be cap compliant. Hoping for an injury? Well that's an exaggeration but the point still stands.

Easiest solution is you can bring up 2 players you would like to protect on roster and make Reaves available on waivers. There was a reason they signed him to this contract, it is a waiver guarantee no 1 will touch lol. His 1.35 m covers almost 2 min contracts so there ya go.
