Description

I think Geekie flourishes in the Bruins' system and emerges as a solution to part of their C issue. While I think JVR will prove to be more effective than some expect, I think Merkulov excels in preseason and gets the 2LW spot on opening night. Meanwhile, I think Lysell best mimics what Hall brought to the team and, as part of a trio with Frederic & Coyle, will form a strong 3rd line. Boston will still be somewhat lacking in offensive punch, but their stout defensive game will persist and they'll make the playoffs.

I've had similar thoughts about Geekie but don't think he'd be at 1C but might be able to fill in at 2C, will be watching to see how he does with the Bruins and if he's given a chance higher up the lineup, was hoping the Jets would sign him.
