Just embarrassing for the Senators, that they couldn;t deal these young guys: Docker, Sokolov, lassi Thomson for even a 4th rounder each.

Two 1sts and a 2nd rounder (over the past 5 drafts) lost for nothing (in all likelihood). Theyre young and could develop elsewhere easily

It's something Kyle Davidson needs to take note of today. Stock piling picks could have its draw backs down the road. How does this information affect his decision making in the future?

All 3 were 22 y/o last season. Note that it's the guy who gave up on Mika Zibanejad and Filip Gustavsson too early as well. Or traded Dylan DeMelo for a 3rd when he had good chemistry with Chabot and the Sens were in a dire NEED for a RHD who could defend. Chabot was then stuck with Zaitsev which partly messed up his confidence

Related to waivers, he waived Rudolfs Balcers and Filip Chlapik in 2020-21 (56 games season) when these guys were on the roster (GP) : Chris Tierney (55), Evgeny Dadonov (55), Colin White (45), Austin Watson (34), Derek Stepan (20), Artem Anisimov (19), Cedric Paquette (9), Alex Galchenyuk (8)

He got lucky with Balcers as he ended up injury-prone but he was actually a good 3rd liner with the Sharks with good advanced stats. Chlapik has been doing really well in Europe, he was the best player in the Czech league in 2021-22. Not a huge deal but when you prioritize BAD PLAYERS with absolutely no future on your team... It could have been to TANK, but he selected Tyler freaking Boucher with that 10th OA pick. lol.

There's just no limit to how bad Dorion is. Clearly the worst GM since Milbury for me

My advice : don't draw any conclusions from Dorion's management. Actually, try to do the opposite.
