why would fleyers want Brodie, an old 5mil expiring UFA?

Why would flyers want timmins, an offense only RD on his 4th team in 5 years? They have far better options in the AHL (Bonk, Attard, Helge, Samson).

Seeler gets at least a 3rd at TDL and walker probably at least a 2nd, (and probably close to two 3rds, a 4th and two 5ths collectively) What you've offered them has no interest now or moving forward.

I don't see Seattle giving up their top pair D-man for a second pairing D-man, a middle 6 winger that they have plenty of, and draft picks that are in the back half of each round, and won't be useful players for 2-3 years, minimum. (Not that I think Seattle scoffs at picks, they need all the help they can get to build their prospect pool, I just don't see it coming at the expense of their top pairing defenseman)
