Description
Would Winnipeg have any interest in Lindholm as a 2nd line centre/winger for the Jets offence
Would New Jersey entertain the idea of Chris Tanev on the blueline for the playoff push?
Would Minnesota consider bringing in Noah Hanifin into their blueline for the playoff push?
Maybe these trades can happen once Pelletier is healthy so that Huberdeau can have his own line with [potential] goal scoring linemates.

Trade Lindholm (50% RS) to Winnipeg for Logan Stanley, Nikita Chibrikov, conditional 2nd round pick 2024 (from Montreal), and conditional 2nd round pick 2025
Conditions: if Winnipeg misses 2024 playoffs they can choose to either keep 2024 or 2025 pick.
->if Winnipeg wins 1st round of playoffs, 2024 2nd round pick will convert to 2024 1st round pick
->if Winnipeg advances to conference finals, both 2nd round picks will be converted to 1st round picks

Trade Tanev (50% RS) to New Jersey for Colin Miller, 3rd round pick 2024 and conditional 3rd round pick 2025
Conditions: if New Jersey misses 2024 playoffs, they keep 2025 3rd round pick
->If New Jersey wins 1st round of playoffs, the 2025 3rd round pick gets converted to 2nd round pick

Trade Hanifin (50% RS) to Minnesota for Ryan O’Rourke, conditional 2nd round pick 2024 and conditional 2nd round pick 2025
Conditions: if Minnesota misses 2024 playoffs, they can choose to either keep 2024 or 2025 pick
->if Minnesota wins 1st round of playoffs, they can choose to either let the 2024 or 2025 2nd round pick get converted to a 1st round pick
->if Minnesota makes it to the conference finals, both 2nd round picks will be converted to 1st round picks

Expecting way too much for a rental in Lindholm. Possibly 2 firsts and Winnipeg's top prospect on the Moose. No one pays that much for a rental.

Lindholm would be nice for Winnipeg, but the return would need to be the normal TDL rental return.

From a Flames pov I don’t think it’s enough. What are the chances that WIN makes it past the first or second rounds. They have to go through possibly McDavid and playoffs Draisaitl, then prior years cup champs or Dallas.

If that happens we’re taking in a player that may not see the NHL with our prospects coming up from the A, and only getting a 2nd for a guy that is constantly in Selke conversation and a #1 center in the league.

Other trades follow a similar pattern, and take back guys that just clog the system for guys like Klapka, Porier, and Coronato.

Yeah, I think there'd need to be less picks and conditions. Just the standard rental price of a 1st and a B prospect, maybe a touch more if there is a bidding war. He'll get a nice return, it just won't break any records.

I’d be looking for something like a B prospect, late to mid first and a second or a late first and an A prospect. Don’t think that’s crazy unreasonable.
