No even if they fall off lat out of it HE DOESN'T WAIVE. HE'S GUARANTEED IT AFTER SAYING HOW DISAPPOINTED HE WAS. Not sure how many times a guy has to say he's not waiving before people believe him.

While it's highly unlikely that Stamkos would waive, if for some reason he was convinced to do so then Tampa would likely look for an upgrade to an area of need. I'd guess it would need to be '24 1st+Schneider+additional pick or prospect. Jones wouldn't move the needle for Tampa more than likely. Tampa could have some interest in Lindgren perhaps, but less so I'd guess with Hedman and Sergachev already on the left side.

This is what I don’t understand about this. If he loves TB org so much, do them a favor and get traded for a 1st rd pick+, play 2 months for the rangers try for another cup and just go back in the summer. He’s actually hurting them with this “guarantee”.

TB is going nowhere in the east this year. They have 5 players worth a damn and they desperately need draft picks
