Maybe one that's worth it. Elias Lindholm is just a Kotkaniemi with better linemates. He's one of the most overrated players in the league. He's a meh 2C, and you're paying for a good 2C. He's not that. For this, I'd rather try Schmaltz, Buchnevich, or any number of alternatives before Lindholm. I don't disagree with the idea of a rental, but the wrong player

No thanks on Lindholm... There are about three 2C's I deal quite a few assets for... Lindholm isn't one of them

Carolina appears to be the most put together team in the metro. However they are always at risk of a healthy devils team with competent goaltending or just getting goalies by Igor or Sorokin

I guess I fail to understand why Ferraro is so highly thought of. You dont pay those assets for a 20-25 point defenseman who is undersized at 5'11. and hes a left shot. I like the idea of him replacing Skjei at a lower aav, but not for a first. Maybe Philly's 2nd this year I'd do with a 4th or something like that.

I think most people haven't actually watched him play. He's big, even if he's not tall. One of the highest work rates in the league, literally an energizer bunny. Shot blocking machine. Really quick skater and has really good offensive abilities, though he prefers to make the safe defensive plays. Also a true leader and teammate.

You're right in the fact that he doesn't really have a place in CAR but there's a lot of teams that would really benefit from having him as a 2nd pairing, minute munching, reliable d-man
