Trading Kampf isn't a good move in my mind. Trading for Larsson is a perfect fit though.

Timmins + 1st + 2 x 3rds for Larsson.

Not that a think Larsson is any difference maker, but you're right about Kampf. He's a centre and is needed as the Leaf don't have much NHL depth. Jarnkrok isn't a centre.

Who would you go after not burning a first to play with Rielly? The other four d-men paired up are really playing well together.

Here's my thought on TDL deals. They rarely help the buyers. Looks at the Leafs, they have just one player on their ELC because they have wasted so many picks (and still owe some), All that for one playoff round win.
The Leafs really don't any additional LHD,,,,, At RHD, yeah Tanev and Walker would be the only two rentals that are available, but I don't seem think as difference makers over the guys that are the team now.
My preference for the Leafs not to be buyers.
They have cap flexibility this summer to chance the Dmen this summer.
