Philly is having injury trouble rn with the D. Drysdale, risto and Ellis. Yes trading walker may not be ideal for them in their current situation but I feel they also need winger depth when it comes to making a playoff push. Jarny is coming off the LTIR soon and when he comes back he will be better than ever. He can play top 2 minutes as well as kill penalties, I feel with him along with Timmons who isn’t bad once he gets settled along with a 1st is in my opinion not too bad. This will get heat but whatever

Philly doesnt want Timmins or Jarnkrot, they'll call up Andrae or Belpedio, neither have value to them

That's an overpay for Walker by any standard. Now I wouldn't mind signing Walker signing as a UFA, but the Leafs don't pay a premium in the trade for the pleasure.

Walker probably fetches a 1st, by all rumours, and not too much of a need to add to that, but if you're adding players they either have to be something PHI wants or needs. PHI has too many wingers and adding jarnklrot is just somebody for them to move elsewhere and timmins has zero value.

Dropping 2 players they dont want doesn;t make the deal better for PHI
