Still have cap space so could be.
I think we have to separate Parayko the player from Parayko the player on that contract.
He’s a top 4 defensive dman, with size & skating and is RHD but with limited offense. So upper mid value but that contract is onerous (to put it mildly).
This is an overpay imo as is; since we don’t have a 2nd (to downgrade 1st), replace Minten with mid prospect but I still wouldn’t do it b/c that contract will age like limburger cheese
