Kulich is basically untouchable for them. Kakko's a floundering former top pick so its perfectly on brand for the sabres but I think NYR deals him for vet between now and Friday instead of dealing him for a pick.

Rangers get no benefit trading Kakko for futures. He hasn't lived up to his expectations but he's still a useful player for them.

Well with Kakko I want him but not rly for the reason most would. I think he largely is what he is at this point but he does have defensive value and (I believe) PK utility. He could become a defensive anchor on the 3rd / 4th line with potential for some secondary scoring.
