Trades
1.
MTL
  1. 2019 3rd round pick (PIT)
Additional Details:
Pittsburgh gets a #5 defensemen who is signed at 2.1 Million for 3 years. Would provide offense as well as defense depth
PIT
  1. Schlemko, David
Additional Details:
With the Acquisition of Theodore, Schlemko becomes expendable.
2.
MTL
  1. Shipachyov, Vadim
  2. Theodore, Shea
Additional Details:
A change of scenery would benefit Galchenyuk. He would most likely become Vegas best forward and a good building block. Plekenec would provide leadership until the TD where he would be flipped for a pick.
VGK
  1. Galchenyuk, Alex
  2. Plekanec, Tomas ($3,000,000 retained)
Additional Details:
Shipachyov would be a solid 2nd or 3rd line center and could really help the Habs in the middle of the Ice. Theodore would slot into the top 4 and provide the Habs with Offense from the blue line
3.
MTL
  1. Howard, Jimmy
Additional Details:
Detroit would trade away one of their awful goalies at a high cap hit in Exchange for a top 4 guy who would provide offense and is from Michigan.
DET
  1. Petry, Jeff
Additional Details:
Montreal basically dumps a talented Petry because of his cap hit for 5 years in exchange for an upgrade to Montoya that has a bad cap hit for 2 years
4.
MTL
  1. 2018 4th round pick (VAN)
  2. 2018 7th round pick (PIT)
Additional Details:
With Vegas claiming Fleury and Niemi being a complete bust. Pittsburgh are in need of a backup goalie who can play 10-20 games a year, Montoya is that guy with a cheap contract for 2 more years
PIT
  1. Montoya, Al
Additional Details:
Montreal gets draft picks that they lost due to other trades. gives them atleast one pick in every round in 2018. With the acquisition of Howard, Montoya would either have to be placed on waivers or be traded

Not enough for Vegas... Galchy for Theo & Shipachyov... Pleky will become a UFA as a small value. You will need to throw Juulsen and McCarron...

Detroit says no thanks on Jeff Petry, We could've traded for him from Edmonton awhile ago. And chose not to do so our scouts weren't that high on him and Ken Holland had decided that there were better options out there,
