It is questionable if Ekbald is 7.5m good right now/. Where is the money to sign the upcoming that come of ELCs? Fact is you trade two starting Dmen and got one in return. So you really want to run the rest of this year with Polak and Valiev? I just see the Leafs defence better this year. Carter is injured now, so even that trade may not benefit the Leafs this year.

Purely because of cap reasons, I say no to both trades unless I get both Hainsey and Martin in them, to clear some space
