Retaining on Gudbranson does the Jackets no good because we'll have to pay a similar amount for his replacement and so the net cap savings is at best zero. And he's actually played well and been a useful locker room glue guy for us, so we're not in any rush to move him in the first place; indeed, finding another guy like that will likely push that into negative cap for the Jackets.
