Description
This just shows that it would be nearly impossible to keep the group (minus KK and MN) and get a decent right handed center. I don't think this roster would be stronger than 23-24.
I think buyout for KK is most likely. Not sure anyone would want to pay his salary.

Given the scenario that the canes are in and that based on the conditions of the Guentzel trade they are only out this years 2nd round pick (44th overall from Philly via the 2022 DeAngelo trade). What do you think a realistic trade value for Necas is given you probably don't have the ability to fit in the cap with him in the $6.5-7.5m range. Is it a 2nd and a prospect that has NHL potential or a 2nd and an established bottom 6 vet on a good value contract? If Guentzel is signed it would seem the Canes lose a bit of leverage on the trade market for Necas.
