you realize Graves is a stay at home defender and that Pettersson is not right?
The whole reason Graves didn't work in PIT is because he could not skate to keep up with Letang and EK.
The whole offense is a pressure offense where the D pinch, and Graves doesn't have the foot speed to make up ground.
MP is a mobile 2 way defenseman, who can actually do that, which is why he works.
How can people not figure this part out and just ramble nonsense.
Graves would do much better on a team that cycles the puck does not ask the defense to pinch and cover the full ice.
But the penguins don't play that way, mainly because they can't score, so they need the defense to help.
