Why are Armia and Kovacevic worth more than Ekblad

Hard pass on the MTL one. Emberson >> Kovacevic and no interest in Armia. Why bordeleau is even in that deal is beyond me

I doubt Rangers let go of Kakko that easily and I think Sharks want to keep Kunin around for his leadership

More than fine moving on from Rutta.

Helenius is very unlikely to make it out of camp. Makes much more sense to sign a solid Vet in free agency to help the rookies develop

Peng wrote about this, but Ekblad my be a similar situation as Duclair, where they don't WANT to move them but they have other guys they need to sign and their cap hit is too high to keep around. Thus they're not a pure dump, but heavily discounted. An early 2nd and very cheap yet solid 2/3rd pairing RHD would make sense. Maybe add a mid-prospect like Klee or Coe
