Description
My Thoughts on these moves
1. I've assumed Maroon was traded at the deadline and some picks will cover the ones I've traded away
2.The cap goes up by as much as the rumors say it will
3. This trade does NOT happen unless OEL signs long-term shortly after
4. Yotes get a number 1 center, a talent young prospect and some early draft picks.
5. I'm assuming Yotes asking price for OEL goes slightly down after the initial asking price is way to high.

Let me know what you think! I'm open for suggestions.

Swap Yamamoto with Benson, take the 2nd make it a 1st and then I think AZ would consider it. I don’t think AZ really wants to trade OEL. So it’s gonna be a high return if they decide to pull the trigger on a deal with him involved

can we stop trading nuge and not replacing him? strome sucks at centre and is barely a 3rd line winger. hes not a sollution at 3c, hes barely good enough as a stop gap. this trade is really unnecessary , you dont need to give up assets to get a player (condition is long term signing) that you can presumably sign for free in 1 years time, and keep Nuge, benson and your first/second round pick

The Oilers have three number one centers and by trading one you still have depth down the middle. In order to get something you need you have to give up something. Is Strome great? No he isn't, but he will make due for a third line center in this league. I love Nuge I do, but the Oilers can't win unless the d-men can move the puck.

the oilers cant win because they cant kill a penalty. strome cannot make due as a 3c its ridiculous to assume that he can play there when hes barely a 3RW. he sucks at centre. sign a FA centre to replace him or dont trade nuge. u cant win without 3 strong lines
