Description
The kid will be a 25-30 goals scorer 55-60 point getter. If you want to trade him now and get nowhere near value for him, go ahead, but it would be incredibly stupid. Kid just needs to get consistent top 6 time.

He got like 8 games of top 6 time to start the season and everyone blames him for little points but Oshie also didn't much (5v5) during that time either. Put him on the RW (his strong wing) in top 6 and he'll tear it up.

So unless he's bringing back young top 6 talent in a trade then don't trade him. You'll regret it once he starts tearing it up on a new team.

People have been saying that forever and he's awful. Use him as trade bait to bolster the blueline. If the Caps didn't have that hole, I'd say keep him.

The criticism I hear is that Bura is a one-trick pony. He doesn't play well off the puck / defensively, and he likes to pull the puck in close and snipe a wrister - doesn't have a big arsenal of shots or ways to create offense. Is any of that accurate? I don't watch enough to know.

He's way better than people give him credit. His 1 flaw is he waits about .5 seconds too long to shoot, which is a shame because he has a nasty wrister. He's good along the boards and so freakn good finding the guys in soft spots to get up scoring chances. I'm not worried about waiting too long too shoot, that's easily fixable. Kid is going to be really good but people freak out on him when he has a little bad stretch.

Then people are stupid. He had an insanely high 5v5 point per/60 rate last season. Was higher than Forsbergs and other great players. Can't get on him for getting slashed breaking hands.

The only whole Caps have in D is the bottom pairing, and Bura is waaaay too good to trade for a bottom pairing defensemen. We have young, great dmen coming. IF we were to trade him it should be for young top 6 player.
