Pens aren’t spending 6 mil on a 3C. They also aren’t trading Sprong, ZAR, and a 1st round pick all in deal. That’s too much for O’Reilly anyway.

We have one more year of Lovejoy at $2.6M, Hunwick is an addl year and an $400K more. Other than being a leftie, why does Jersey do this?

Sabres arent retaining on ror. It dies right there. 9 million retained over 6 years, just so it looks pretty. If you want him, hes a very solid 2nd line center. im willing to retain salary on most trades if the return is right and if the retention gets additional compensation. Im not retaining for 6 years. Sabres also have holes all over their roster, reinhart has been a sad disappointment- thats rors likely replacement. It doesnt work on our end either.
