Description
Unfortunately, we like/love some players, but for a rebuild, the future is what we are working for. MTL past is synonym of glory, but the future as it stand is going the opposite way. Young player into the past of the concession what made it so glory.

This years is not going to be pretty, next year - fresh breeze, 2nd year into Optimistic and 3 years is where it turn positive.

Price at 34 yrs, will be a key player until 36/37 for a cup run same as the veteran goalie. We could keep him or move and replace him with cheaper/AHL goalies. I decided to keep him, for two reason: First, yes expensive but we know what he can bring to the table. Second, he is reputed to calm his player and would be a good mentor/ big brother for many young player.

Second mentor/brother will be Webber. At the end of his contract we could always trade him for team that want to reach the floor cap with a lower actual salary.

With the draft pick, If we don't draft 1st overall, then I would focus on center and offensive talent

PIT right wing with Rust, Hornquist and kessel seem stack on the top 3RW. Byron will add speed on the left side and PK guy.

Jerabek will add puck moving D on the 3rd pair.

In my opinion, PIT don't need top offence, they need player with good contract, responsible in their zone and that support their current offence to win their 3rd cup in a row
