Description
I know. This trade will never get done in the forseeable future and I think George McPhee wants to build the right way by drafting. But the Vegas Golden Knights are the only team in the NHL who can do a trade like this. They have great prospects, a great core and a LOT of picks to do such a trade. And they lack Right shooting blueliners. So why not bring the best in the entire league. The only question is if Karlsson includes Vegas in his 10 team no trade clause.

unless you had, like, five UFA contracts expiring and were winning your CONFERENCE that year. Then it'd be pretty stupid not to.

Also, in his only other gig as head GM, McPhee went all in in his first year, and made it to the finals. You know, if that means anything?

With how VGK is playing, you go for it. It doesn't look like there isn't a team they can't beat in the West, so it looks good for them to get to the cup finals. If that's the case why not increase your chance and take a HUGE swing at one of the NHL's best d-men?

Yeah but two things the playoffs are very different , and if they give up their future rn then they are out of luck , if they are winning now how they are why go out and trade for anyone keep the core for a run and then see
