    the deal was completely one sided for the ducks. the rangers don't give mcd and grabner up for that little..
    it was a first rounder, no top prospect or player with top line potential, basically all bottom level NHL players for the rangers #1 defenseman and a forward on pace for over 30 goals this year. don't read too far into it because rangers would never do that deal

    Larsson is our top D prospect. Ritchie is young with potential still. Though admittedly that is running thin Kerdiles doesnt really do anything for value as hr has been fighting to stay healthy for years. But when healthy he has been good. If you look at the deal you could probably argue the first paya for Grabner. So you're paying Ritchie, former 10th OA with some upside. Our top D prospect and potential bottom 6 player who needs an opportunity and a 3rd for 1 year remaining of McDonough. While that likely isn't enough its not scraps either. I dont think McDonough is a fit anyway.
