Description
Both generous offers... Kempny because he will not be resigning with Chicago next season due to his lack of playing time, and if Chicago reassigns him to Rockford he will for sure be claimed off of waivers. Fischer is a generous offer because obviously it is a 1st round pick for someone who has put up 23 points in 50 games .5/g.

I like the first deal, not so much for the second. At this stage, Bruins should hold on to their first-round picks. Yes, you're in the upswing now, but I don't think loading up your prospect pool at this point would hurt. The Bruins have quite a few key parts that are at the stage of their careers where they could start declining.

Fischer is 20 with the potential to increase his production... (or not) guessing on him is about as sure of a thing as guessing on a prospect, that's the ONLY reason I thought this would be a good idea.

Eh, not a bad point. I still think ARZ wouldn't take that deal. They need defense badly.

You might be right. It might take more to get them to bite...

Maybe a lower pick, but a prospect who's already in the system (obviously not Zboril) Maybe like a 2nd in 2018 and Lauzon or rights to Urho V.??? IDK, but having a right handed shot moving forward into this years playoffs would be invaluable, and I just can't see us executing a blockbuster for someone like Stone; it would cost us way too much and screw with the chemistry we have right now. Fischer is just an alternate thought. .5/g is not a bad scratch to work into your regular lineup. Plus he's young and his upside may not have topped out.

I like Fischer. Don’t see Zona giving up a proven NHL commodity that’s still got a couple years on his ELC up for an unknown.

Chicago deal. Meh. Not giving anything up. But might as well just play one of the extra RH D on his offside or use O’Gara, Zboril if needed. If they are going to trade for a LH D man it would be somebody that will play rather than a healthy scratch.
