Agreed, 1 down year doesn’t make Saad a cap dump. As I keep telling all my fellow Duck fans, Ritchie has throw-in value right now. Larsson is a decent piece, but worth far less than Saad.

I’m not a CHI fan, so I’m not fully clued in on the team, but, looking at the numbers, I’m not sure CHI will be better next season. Those 10M contracts have hit hard and it affected your depth. I mean, the D looks awful with Hjalmarsson gone and the bottom 6 doesn’t look much better. I know players have been under-performing and Crawford has been injured, but I just don’t see how CHI becomes a top tier team again without a significant trade or a prospect really stepping up. The D really needs addressing, but you’ve got no cap to work with.

All I hope is CHI fires Quennville. Then we can fire Randy and pick him up. We’ve had serious injury issues this year, but RC is just terrible. The only reason we’re even in the playoff picture is because Gibson stood on his head until everyone returned. Since everyone’s returned, Gibson has started to look mortal again and RC terrible system that has never worked is falling apart. Seriously, I’m hoping JQ or McLellen are fired so we can grab one of them. Should have grab Claude Julien when we had the chance.
