Description
I think this scenario is pretty realistic in terms of fairness of the trades. No, i dont think they will all happen at the deadline, some will happen at the draft, but this gives us a good stockpile of picks as well as gets the young lads play time.

We draft Evan Bouchard & K'Andre Miller with our two 1st's.

I think Green will fetch a hair more, or a second/third and strong prospect. Petr just got moved so that's a moot point. I don't see us moving AA and if I'm CAR I don't move Bean. I could see Gus for a 2nd and a prospect NOT named Fabbro or Tolvanen from the Preds. X to the Habs for that future considerations guy methinks. Glendening would be for a 4th and Leivo I think. Maybe a 3rd.

I heard Boston was interested in Helm but wanted to send a bad contract (Beleskey) back, which would require a strong insentive considering Helm is still a useful 3rd line center and not an AHL winger.

I don't think Abby is going anywhere and Daley is next years deadline bait.

Lol. Littile late Mrazek was traded to Philly conditional 4th in 18 conditional 3rd in 19. And Wings retained 2m

You heard wrong. We have no interst in Helm. We do want to get rid of Beleskey which would be incentive to take Helm. Other wise we have no interset.

Alot of it makes sense until you said tavares signs. They have 0 chance to sign him and really they shouldn't sign him. Take the picks and build

Craig Custance of the Athletic reported it, so take it for what you will. https://theathletic.com/246134/2018/02/19/where-things-stand-with-red-wings-one-week-from-the-trade-deadline/ <--paywall

"Darren Helm is a slight wild card. The Boston Bruins are believed to have inquired about Helm but wanted to send a bad contract back the other way, which doesn’t solve much for the Red Wings"
